Creativity fuels leaps of the imagination and injects curiosity with a voice.
A painted mural spanning the walls and ceiling of Tiny Giant’s Sandwich Shop on the LES intended to spark new appreciation for origins of Lower East Side’s urban art and architecture - the iconic tenement building facade and wrought iron fire escapes. The camera obscura inspired mural appeared to unfold like a pop-up book as the viewer first perceived hints of the image through the corner glass windows, then entering the restaurant to eat-in or take out. Notably, this was one of the first 50 projects funded on Kickstarter in 2009.
