Brand Experience Forum | Confidential
Mike Brown, VP, Creative Director @ LDJ Productions | Van Wagner
As VP, Creative Director at LDJ Productions, I led the team on the successful new business pitch and subsequent partnership with Van Wagner to envision, design and produce the (Confidential) Brand Experience Forum at New York City's Spring Studios. LDJ Productions provided turnkey creative production agency services from concept to completion. The highly successful event lead to a long-term strategic partnership with Van Wagner and continued collaborations with this notable global technology brand.
This single-day event welcomed Brand Executives, Customers and CX industry leaders to gather and learn about the Brand’s latest enterprise platform offerings and customer success via keynote panels, breakout sessions and product demos. Our team worked seamlessly with Van Wagner and the Brand to craft a meaningful creative approach, develop the attendee experience and produce innovative environmental designs aligned with corporate, creative and cultural strategies to help drive effective business results.

Keynote Stage Design: Inspired by the Brand's extruded-cube graphic language, we created a cascade of color and light spanning the 6th floor studio windows behind the stage. Tinted acrylic panes were mixed with floating LED tiles to create the vibrant panorama and content displays. The meticulous composition infused this iconic space with the Brand vision and shifted during the day-long program.
Guest Arrival and Registration Gallery: We created 3 sculptural, photo-worthy moments to welcome and inspire guests along the arrival path. The highlight was an extruded sculpture of the Brand's logo mark to anchor the registration gallery with WOW. Blending digital with physical, we wanted to capture a moment in time from the motion graphic content featured on large LED walls in the space.
Guest Arrival and Registration Gallery: Attendees entered off Varick Street and first encountered a stylized New York City skyline pop-up that prompted them to step inside, capture photos and share on social. An immersive red-rope tunnel led guests inside the Registration Gallery. Then wonder and awe struck as guests discovered the spiraling brand-mark sculpture..
Sponsor Lounge: Guests arrived on the 6th floor for morning coffee in this inviting space. Waves of translucent fabrics lined the ceiling to create an unexpected, softer moment. Partner lounges lined the walls for meet-and-greets during the day. A display of chromatic acrylic cubes etched with the Brand Mark anchored the center of the space. These cubes were given as gifts at the end.
5th Floor Breakout Gallery: After the morning Keynotes, Attendees went to the 5th floor for lunch and afternoon sessions. We designed this space -- sitting directly below the Keynote Space -- with an extension of the cascade of color and light on the windows. Tinted film infused the hall with color throughout the day. The flexible space was turned-over after lunch to provide 2 breakout spaces.

The Pitch
This new business pitch, and the partnership, collaborations and work that followed will remain a highlight of my 25+ year career. It was a remarkable opportunity to inspire, lead and direct the teams on a project of this scale for this brand. Transforming stories into spaces that inspire belonging through the power of creativity and innovation. Infusing this iconic venue with my vision and passion for the work. And above all, cultivating the potential in people and processes to drive measurable growth across culture and commerce.
