As a Creative Consultant for CrossBeat Ventures -- a family office with a focus on social impact investments in venture capital, private equity and real estate -- I helped envision the strategic initiative to transform the landmark WFIL American Bandstand Studios Building into new, state-of-the-art recording studios and performance spaces. Our cultural placemaking concept was anchored by a one-of-a-kind development opportunity with The Enterprise Center that would drive enduring growth for Philadelphia's ascendant creative economy.

We envisioned a profit-for-purpose business model that The Enterprise Center would lead to encourage and accelerate West Philadelphia's Creative Economy through robust community and commercial resources and programming.
Collaborating with the CrossBeat Ventures team, I leveraged my expertise in Storytelling and Placemaking to help balance vision with long-term value, and clearly communicate the growth opportunity for prospective stakeholders and investors.
Our Strategic Initiative Proposal to the Enterprise Center targeted a planning grant to develop the full business plan and strategic creative vision of the project, in advance of investor and partner outreach.
