Fashion Presentation Design for Kaelen Fall/Winter 2011 creating a multi-sensory environment at New York City’s Drive-In Studios inspired by the old American west and Sam Haskin's Cowboy Kate. Guests stood within the immersive space lined with 5000’ running feet of salvaged wood to see the models in assorted vignettes around the space. The sight and smell of a thousand rough-hewn oak planks enveloping the space created a transformative experience for guests the moment they entered the visually rich context for the new collection. Dozens of victorian era hurricane lanterns and bare Edison lamps hung over the space to highlight the assorted furniture arrangements of clawfoot piano stools, antique damask chaises, ornamental dressing screens, a functioning mechanical bull and an open bar of rye and bourbon.
