Fashion Runway Design for Diesel Black Gold Fall/Winter 2010 staged in a concrete block space to contrast urban grit with the flash of rock and roll. The fragmented mirror set wall - inspired by the work of Olafur Eliasson - blazed under strobing lights and created dynamic reflections of the models as they appeared and disappeared through gaps in the towering walls. Reflecting the textures and colors of the new Black Gold collection across the kaleidoscopic flashing surfaces, it appeared as though the models were stepping out of the hottest club of the moment. Notably, Interior Design Magazine selected this project for their Best of Year Design Issue, December 2010.
