Diesel Black Gold Runway Show

I worked in collaboration with OBO as Production Designer for the Diesel Black Gold Runway Show. Staged in a raw concrete space off Bryant Park in Manhattan to contrast urban grit with the flash of rock and roll, I envisioned a faceted mirror set wall inspired by the vivid architectural work of Olafur Eliasson. The set blazed under strobing lights and produced dynamic reflections of the models as they appeared and disappeared through unseen gaps between the mirrors, as though the models were stepping out of the hottest club of the moment. Notably, Interior Design Magazine selected my work in their Best of Year Design Issue, December 2010.
