We were commissioned to design and produce a visually eye-popping and interactive environment for the 2012 MLB Fan Cave - a pop-up live tv studio and social media mecca that celebrates the fans and athletes of the Game today via art, pop-culture, technology, media and baseball itself. The comprehensive environment would serve to amplify the social media conversation for Baseball and fans of the game.

Incorporating a wide array of sculptural, architectural and interactive design elements, we approached the designs from the outside in. The comprehensive environment is tied together by iconic stadium lighting fixtures and an undulating 'marquee' of 200 Louisville Slugger Baseball Bats overhead. The vast and airy space - once an iconic Tower Records Store - opens up and reveals itself to guests as they enter and walk inside. 45 large format Sony HDTV's are implemented in the space - primarily anchoring the venue on the jumbotron-like Cave Monster Wall in the center zone. Graffiti murals, chalkboard surfaces and large format print graphics lend highlights of color and texture throughout. A 10' tall neon orange tube slide anchors the rear of the space, around which a full gaming parlour sits, complete with pool table, skee-ball and shuffleboard. Other interactive elements we created include the Dirt Bar, 65" Photobooth, Chalkboard walls, Trending Displays and art gallery atriums.
