Professor Dietrich Neumann of Brown University (19th & 20th Century Architecture) commissioned us to construct a working replica of the Algol Machine - an iconic prop in the 1920 german horror film Algol, directed by Hans Werckmeister. The work would be displayed as a component in the exhibition Film Architecture that Dietrich Neumann was curating.
